Porky Beagle Godfrey, IL

Porky, aka Pork Chop, was surrendered by his owner because she was no longer able to provide a fit environment. Pork Chop is 14 years old and has lived the life of a normal dog.... until one day when his owner had to move into a house that would not allow Porky to free roam the house. He was only allowed to be chained up outside or be kenneled in a cold, dark basement. Porky lived confined like this for the past year. We could not imagine Porky living the rest of his life this way so FAHR agreed to take him in.

Porky is a very sweet boy who still has lots of love to give. He needs a special family to provide all the love and care for whatever amount of time he has left. He loves all people and does well with all animals. He’s house trained and kennel trained. He’s a very smart boy and knows lots of tricks, which he will gladly perform for food.

Porky’s adoption fee is $100. This includes vaccinations, neuter, microchip, dental cleaning, heartworm test, dewormer and maintaining heartworm/flea prevention while in our care.

To be considered for adoption, your vet reference will be checked. You MUST have a consistent history of vaccines and heartworm prevention use in order to be considered for adoption.

You must be located within 50 miles of Godfrey/Alton, IL as a home visit is required as part of our process.
