Meet Poochie
Meet Poochie!
He is a 10 year old Dachshund mix looking for his forever home! Poochie is a sweet little boy that really needs a stable home for the rest of his golden years. He would do best in a quiet home with another dog or cat as a companion and an owner who is home frequently. Poochie does have a history of anxiety and skin/allergy issues but does well with medication to maintain them both. He also has some age related arthritis and does sometimes need assistance with obstacles such as stairs. Despite his age and arthritis, Poochie still enjoys his leisurely walks. He has never lived with children and would do best in a home with older dog savvy children as opposed to younger children.
Poochie is housebroken, though does need potty breaks during the day, up to date on vaccinations and on heartworm and flea preventative. Stop by and meet him 9-1, Mon thru Sat!
