Hi ya!!!! It’s Pippi, short for Pippi Longstocking, cuz you know I was blessed with these crazy ears! Yup, you are staring at them right now aren’t you? The bad news is I turned down a contract with Disney, they wanted me to fly around with some baby elephant; but lucky for you that means I need to find my cute little self a home! Foster mom says I can’t free load anymore and it is about time I find myself a hoooooman of my very own. So let me tell you about myself! I was found as a stray wandering the streets on my own, a nice person found me and took me to the Humane Society. They got me all cleaned up and discovered I was missing something very important, my anus. Yes, you read correctly, I was born without an anus. I have had two, yup TWO, surgeries to help me correct this problem; they sort of had to build one for me!! So I am going to come with a lot of medical records that make great bedtime reading!! My doctor says he is very happy with all the progress I have made medically, but we can’t rule out the possibility of future surgery! I really hope NOT! Mama just wanted you to be prepared that more care may be needed down the road as I grow and mature!

I am 6 months old and I weigh 23 pounds and although my DNA test says I am 50% cattle dog and 50% Walker Coonhound; I know I am ALL cattle dog! Just ask my older foster siblings, they will tell you I love love love to play, I am very good at sneak attacks. I like to herd them and bite their legs and they don’t find this nearly as much fun as I do; so I would love a home with young dogs that can keep up with my never ending cattle dog energy!!! I love toys, and if I can’t find toys, I will turn your things into my toys; what can I say I AM a puppy!!! Did I mention I have really cute big ears. Sorry I get easily distracted!! Mama says I can also have the tude of a cattle dog; but that is part of the package!

I am doing really well with potty training, I go to the door when I have to pee; but I must confess pooping still comes with a few challenges and can be a bit unpredictable. I try very hard, but sometimes I just don’t have complete control. Mama says as I get bigger and stronger and my muscles grow some more, this may get much better. So I can be a little messy, but I am so teeny tiny, clean up is a breeze! If you meet me, I just know you will help me work through this one tiny issue. And seriously what girl doesn’t like a good bath!!

I do need a home with a fenced yard as I am tiny but I am fast! I like to give my human love bites so a home with tiny people probably would not be a good place for me or tiny hooomans. I am good on a leash but prefer running in my fenced backyard to go potty!

I love me some snuggles and a good belly scratch AND I am very good at kisses! We could open our own kissing booth (back to the free loading thing). I like people, mama tells me there are lots of good people in the world who have already helped me so very much and she just knows there is a kind, patient person out there just looking for their own little Pippi. Is that you??? I see you staring at my ears again!!! Just imagine seeing them in person!!

I know a lot of you have been following my story and have been waiting patiently for mama to list me so get your application in early! Letting me go is gonna be very hard on my mama as she has taken such very good care of me and loves every bit of me; but she wants me to get to experience having a family of my very own. I am a “special needs” dog but that just means I need someone special like you to love me forever.
