Piper's Story

Meet Piper!

After 460 days of waiting, Piper is still searching for the family she was meant to have. Its hard to believe that this amazing girl has been overlooked for so long, because anyone who meets Piper quickly learns just how special she is.

Piper is a 1-year-old, 75-pound sweetheart with the perfect mix of goofy, loving, and adventurous. She is an athletic, intelligent girl who loves being part of the action and would thrive with an active family ready to continue her training and include her in everyday adventures.

Pipers DNA test revealed a unique blend of breeds: 31% American Bully, 24% American Pit Bull Terrier, 22% Mastiff, 8% German Shepherd, 6% Neapolitan Mastiff, and 9% Supermutt — creating a loyal, smart, and affectionate companion with plenty of personality.

This fun-loving girl enjoys hiking, playing in the water, and exploring the world with her people. She also has a softer side and is perfectly happy relaxing on the couch and watching TV with her family. Piper knows her basic commands, walks well on leash, is housebroken, and is eager to keep learning (especially when treats are involved!).

Piper enjoys the company of other active, well-balanced dogs and would do best with a confident family who understands her energy and is committed to providing structure, continued training, and plenty of enrichment. Because of her size and strength, breed experience or experience with large, strong dogs would be a plus.

Piper has spent far too long waiting for her chance. She is ready for a family who will see what everyone who knows her already sees — a fun, loyal, loving dog who just needs someone to give her the opportunity to shine.

Could Piper be the companion youve been searching for?

Apply to adopt Piper at:
www.muttsinarutrescue.com
