Meet Piko
Piko, 3 years old, neutered male, Black Labrador mix, 52 lbs. He is in a foster home in Houston, TX and can transport to an approved adopter!
Piko is a very affectionate and loving pup. He's had no issues with any dogs that he's met. He loves hanging out with his foster dog brother. He likes to engage in play and would do best with a dog who also wants to play.
He is generally low/moderate energy with spurts of energy here and there. He also shares a home with a 2 year old child. We have no concerns with him around kids of any age.
Piko could use some help walking on leash as he tends to pull. He can get excited checking out new things that grab his attention. He is house broken. He needs food to coax him into the crate, but once in he does great. No barking or whining. He has been left unsupervised when his foster parents are out of the house and has no issues.
Of note, he is an escape artist. He will bolt out the front door if not watching him. His foster mom has been working on this with him, but important to note. He also likes to chew on anything wooden- he will leave everything else alone.
Piko is a very loving, sweet natured guy. He would love to go on adventures. We think he would enjoy having another dog in the home. He is a cuddle bug and loves everyone that he meets!
