Phoenix Boxer & Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix Phoenix, AZ

Phoenix (Ruby while in our care),came to our attention in September of 2020.
Just a little puppy, her then cowardly owner just opened his door on the third floor balcony and left her there....for days, with a broken leg! Another resident would hear her whines and began leaving food and water. It was then that he noticed her back leg just hung, most likely a high impact injury. Once in our care, Phoenix had her leg removed and she was eventually adopted into a wonderful family. Sadly, we recently heard that Phoenix needs to be rehomed. Her current foster family loves her dearly and tells us that she is the sweetest gal. She is a loving girl looking for her forever home. She adores snuggles on the couch and has no idea that she's handicapped - she loves to run, play and catch frisbees...she LOVES playing frisbee! Phoenix would love a home with another dog as she does get some anxiety and another dog helps her tremendously. If she is an only dog, crate training is advised. Phoenix is currently in a home with two other dogs and they all play and romp all day. She is dog social and children friendly, not cat tested. Phoenix is a beautiful dog full of happy personality.
