Meet PHOENIX
April 9th -- and YES "Phoenix" is still available for adoption. These NEW pictures were just taken Easter Sunday.
Isn't she cute? Do you remember what she looked like when she first arrived at Picket Fence Poodles? (pictures are on our web site) Now can you see what love can do?
Phoenix is a cream Toy Poodle who is 8 1/2" tall and 8.5 pounds and about 5 years old. She is also the small, short leg, long body (old style) and short muzzled Poodle.
Phoenix comes to us from a Southern Missouri puppy mill and is learning all about life in a home with a family!
Such a sweet and loving little girl! She is very easy going, SUPER quiet, mellow, follows me around and loves being part of a quiet family.
This is a very gentle, little Toy Poodle who enjoys all the other Toy Poodles. However, she is "soft" and will allow an aggressive or out-going Poodle to pick on her.
She will come to me when I call her and wants to be held and loved so very much! Leash training has begun now that the weather is nice!
Phoenix has been Vet checked, spayed, teeth cleaned, shots are up to date, wormed, micro-chipped, heartworm tested negative and placed on a preventative.
Sadly, Phoenix lost her litter of puppies when she was spayed before she arrived here. The Vet was unaware she had been bred.
She is very nurturing and patient with a most demanding Poodle puppy we have.
Until we get her leashed trained, Phoenix will require a fenced yard as she will easily climb out of our exercise pen. Please, no small children.
Also included in her $250.00 adoption fee is her kennel, 1 month supply of dog food, a leash and collar, a new soft bed, various toys and information about puppy mill dogs to help your adoption start off on the right paw forward.
Like Lady, Phoenix is not perfect, but she deserves a "forever more" family in a loving home after all the neglect and abuse she's been threw.
If you are interested, we will adopt Lady and Phoenix together.
