Meet Petey!

DOB: 03/17/2019 - Male - 50 lbs. and growing!!!

This handsome boy is as goofy as they come! He is unaware of his size and is learning personal space! ;) Petey is a joyous boy and quite the goober! He will put a smile on your face and is quite the entertainer! Petey has recovered nicely from his blockage and is growing and gaining weight by the day! He is a smart boy, who is eager to please and very food motivated! He knows sit, down, wait, crate, walk, and is working on off. He is also working on his puppy manners such as playful nipping/biting (mainly ankles and shoes), jumping up, and learning not to be so demanding when he wants something! He is doing well with crate training and is potty trained. He is a giant puppy and has puppy energy as well! He will need an energy outlet and both physical and mental exercises. Petey loves everyone he meets and has done well in the home with other dogs of various ages and sizes, however, he does best and seems to enjoy playing with dogs around his size and larger, although he is good with the little puppies! Due to his large size and still working on his puppy manners, he would do best in a home without small children. He would also do best with a large fenced yard. He loves to explore and go for hikes - he is not a huge fan of water yet! He also is learning fetch and loves his Jolly Ball, stuffed animals, and anything he can chase or chew! He is attending some foundation training classes this month as well, to help him be the best adult version of himself! Petey also loves to be near his humans and cuddle up close! He knows naps are important and he is a snorer! This sweet boy will shower you will kisses and be a loving life long companion! His goofy personality is just icing on the cake!!
