While his history with cats is unknown, he may do well with slow, supervised introductions. One thing to know about Petey—he’s got opinions, and he isn’t shy about sharing them! Because of his frequent barking, he’s not suited for apartment living.<br/><br/>Petey is not yet potty-trained, so his future family must be committed to starting crate training from square one. Consistency and patience will be key to helping him succeed. For that reason, Petey will do best with a younger, active family ready to invest time in training and structure.<br/><br/>In return, Petey promises to be a playful, affectionate companion who will keep you smiling every day. He is up-to-date on all vaccines and preventative care, microchipped, and available as a foster-to-adopt until after his neuter appointment.<br/><br/> If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.
