Peter's Story

Meet Peter!

Peter is a 6 month old male boxer that! Peter and his older brother, Paul, came to B&B from Nelson County. Peter is a little shy right now as he adjusts to new life in his foster home, but is just coming out of his shell! He walks great on a leash, and is potty and crate trained! He loves other dogs and they are helping him build confidence, so a home with another confident dog is required.

Peter is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is neutered, microchipped, is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and on a monthly preventative. His adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate vaccinations and his cost of care while in foster. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dog’s age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. To apply to adopt Peter, visit www.beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt.

Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.

Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
