Meet Pepper
Pepper was found running around an apartment complex and was taken in by a Good Samaritan. With no hits on Lost Dog websites and no supplies or even air conditioning, they reached out to us for help.
Pepper was taken to a Veterinarian and found to be very healthy other than normal puppy tummy troubles. She was 12.5 lbs at around 11 weeks old and loved everyone at the Clinic! We think she is a small terrier mixed with border collie.
Pepper's foster Mom and Dad fell in love with her immediately. She has adapted to their family and pack so easily and could not be sweeter. She quickly earned the nickname of "Adventure Dog" because she has no fear, loves to climb on stuff, jump off stuff and stalk her foster brothers and lizards. She loves the backyard and would be a great outdoorsy hiking companion because she loves the sunshine, people and other dogs. She has even bravely investigated the backyard swimming pool by batting the water with her paws and seems to like swimming.
Pepper is just overall really sweet and cuddly. She gets bursts of energy where she zoomies around the yard with her butt tucked in and then climbs up onto her humans for a nap once she's tuckered out. If Pepper sounds like the perfect addition to your family then please reach out to apply!
