Penny's Story

Penny is a very sweet, docile little girl! She is approximately 15 pounds and 1 year old. She is a low energy dog - she enjoys sleeping on soft blankets and lying in the sun. She doesn’t bark much! When Penny gets really excited she smiles at you, which is probably the cutest thing you will ever see! A picture of her smiling is attached!!

Penny joined the rescue from a dog hoarding situation and has already been a mom. She is working on learning to be a pet and is quickly gaining confidence in herself! She is working on potty training and crate training! Both are going well, but might be a work in progress for a couple of weeks. She is also learning to walk on a leash. She is quick to warm to new people, but will be apprehensive at first. SShe is dog friendly and kid friendly. She has not been cat tested, but I don’t think they would be an issue for her since she is about the same size as a cat.
We love this little miniature girl and her smiles when she is happy! She needs a home that will give her the love to grow into a confident dog!

---
To apply to adopt, please follow the steps for adoption on HalfwayThereRescue.com/Adoption-Process and apply directly here: https://fs26.formsite.com/htrnp/a2k3lsooud/index.html
