She can be shy at first, but once she trusts you, her affectionate side shines through, especially if belly rubs are involved!<br/>She loves being outside, watching squirrels, and spending quiet time with her people. Penny has a lovely balance of playful energy and calm downtime, making her an easy companion to have around.<br/>She is:<br/> ✔House trained<br/> ✔Crate trained (her crate is her safe space)<br/> ✔Friendly with other calm dogs<br/> ✔Very little barking or jumping<br/> ✔Affectionate and gentle<br/>Due to her past, Penny can be startled by sudden movements or loud noises, so she would do best in a calmer home with patient adopters who will continue helping her build confidence. She has done well with older, calm children, but hasn’t been exposed to small children or cats.<br/>Penny enjoys the company of other friendly dogs and is beginning to come out of her shell more and more every day.
