Peggy English Bulldog New Orleans, LA

Peggy-O! This delightful English Bulldog is all fun and games and snoozes. Peggy loves to be pet, and will snuggle up to you on the couch with no regard for personal space. She usually will lower her head to be pet first, and then awkwardly lean into you and twist over for belly rubs. She is a champion snuggler, and will fall asleep holding your hand or with her head on your lap. Peggy certainly gets bursts of energy though, and loves to play with toys or jump up to dance with you. Peggy is house and kennel-trained, and will make funny noises to let you know when she wants to be fed or let out. Peggy came to us after a series of owners, none of whom had ever taken her to the vet. We guess she is about 6-7 years old, and just now getting over skin/eye/ear infections. She will need medicated baths every so often though, but is relatively low-maintenance. Also, yes, her tongue is out almost all of the time. Peggy is very friendly, but would prefer a home with no other animals or small children.
