Once she knows you? She's all in - affectionate, loyal, and never far from your side.

She's the kind of dog who goes from "let me check this out" to "I'm your dog now" in no time.

Her foster has been taking her out and about, and Peggy handles it well - she just likes a moment to take things in first. After that, she's friendly, engaged, and happy to be included.

What Peggy's foster loves:
Loves other dogs and enjoys having a playmate
Great with kids
Good with cats
Affectionate and people-focused once comfortable
The perfect mix of playful + cuddle time

She's about 80% potty trained and doing really well - she just needs a home that will stay consistent and help her keep building that routine (and be quick to catch her cues).

Peggy is at such a good age - past the tiny baby phase, but still young enough to grow with her person or family. She doesn't need perfection, just someone who understands that a slightly shy dog at first often turns into the most loyal one.

Medium-sized (and likely staying right around this size)
Spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines
Adoption fee: $250
In foster homes across the KC metro

If you're looking for a dog who will truly bond with you - Peggy is ready for her person.

Apply here:
https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HAUS/Dog
