Meet Parker

Herrrrrrrrrrre's Parker! Parker is an 18 month old Goober Goo who made some poor decisions during his puppy months, and because of his breed..... humans became scared of him.

When Parker was 5-6 months old, he really wanted a toy that an older dog had...... The Older Dog and Parker got into a scuffle, and Parker was reprimanded for being naughty.

When Parker was approximately 1 year of age, he found himself in the hallway with a cat....... cat bolted, Parker tried chasing the cat, cat is fine and alive, but Parker needed to leave the home he called his own from the time he was a 4 month old pup.

Parker came back to NALA Rescue when he was around 1 year of age.

Over the last 6 months, we have been working VERY hard with Parker. We have been trying to determine if he is a "dangerous dog" or if he is just a playful pup. After six months, we have determined that he is Big Lug that literally has NO idea that his form of 'play' doesn't work out well with smaller animals.... nor does it work out with young children who may be carrying around a stuffed animal or a snack pack.

We NEVER SAID HE WAS SMART, let's just make that known now. If the "face plant/palm to forehead" emoji wasn't around yet...... we could have a picture of Parker and that would suffice for that emoji.

Hear us out for a moment..... Parker IS a good boy, he is potty trained, kennel trained, leash trained, knows commands, loves everyone he meets. But he is a doofus. He sleeps on his back and snores, he passes gas often, he gets scared of his own tail from time to time, and he doesn't realize that his head is the size (and weight) of a large bowling ball.

Because of Parker's history of acting like a neanderthal, Parker needs to be the ONLY animal in the household. (Unless other animals live in enclosures... fish, reptiles, pocket pets).

Also, we are strongly suggesting that any human offspring that reside in your home be in the double digit age range, or at least be able to understand that if you sit on the couch with a bucket of chicken; Parker won't be able to control his drool and desire for said bucket of chicken.

Parker is the dog that makes comic strips an actual thing. His toots wake him up (and scare him sometimes), he gets very focused on a leaf that wavers in the wind, and if something looks good or smells good, he must have a taste of it!

Again, we never once said he was smart.
