Meet Paddy: This cute-as-they-come Westie/Schnauzer mix (we think) is about 4 yrs old = fully grown, and about 22 lbs. Paddy is a little insecure and shy when he first meets new people but warms up quickly and likes treats. He rides perfectly in the car and his house and crate trained. He walks well on leash and knows basics like sit and down - especially when there is a treat involved! Paddy gets along well with similar sized dogs after proper introduction, he needs a few minutes to determine if new dogs (and people) are "safe", and then he's fine. Paddy was found as a stray and may have had questionable and bad experiences with people and other dogs, but once he learns to trust, he loves playing with the dogs and snuggling with his people.
Paddy is looking for a home with or without similar sized another dog in it, he's fine with cats, but he prefers older children, like teenagers as younger kids make him nervous and he barks when nervous.
