Hi there, my name is Otis, I am about 7 years old and about 16 lbs. I am looking for a 'forever' home.

Otis is a rescue from California that was adopted by a family and has been with them for a year. He had attached himself to the mom of the family, so over the last year he had gotten more protective of the mom. He doesn't like his main human hugging another human and especially doesn't want to share with other dogs. He is fine when its just the pack but once the human is involved he gets pushy, growly, protective, almost resource guarding. A pack would be too much for Otis to have to share his human with.

Otis does not like it when the kids get excited and make noise, he would be happier in a quieter home with no kids. A busy household with lots of kid guests was stressing him out and although they love him, he has been returned to the rescue and is now back in foster care waiting for a quiet home that wants to give him all the love he deserves.

Otis loves to cuddle and he is great on a leash - walks just behind you. Otis doesn’t really like the snow and cold so he prefers his walks in nice weather. . Please note that Little Mutts Rescue adoption fees are generally $400 for adults, $300 for dogs that are 5-8 years old, $200 for dogs over 8 years old and $500 for puppies. Includes spay / neuter, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchip, and a vet certificate of health (please note that if puppies are born in Calgary, we do not have a vet certificate to provide).
