Opie is ready for adoption! Opie is an 8 year old Shih Tzu/Bulldog cross! He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and ready for adoption. He had a mass removed from his back and he is ready to find his people. Opie is 30 lbs.<br/>Opie loves his walks. He pulls towards other dogs with his tail wagging. Does a sit and stay for food and treats. Gives a paw shake. Loves toys and is getting better at dropping them and not guarding. <br/>Opie has been abused in his past and is fearful of new people. He would like a quiet adults only home that will only use positive reinforcement with him. <br/>He doesn’t like to be picked up, but is big enough to jump on the bed. Opie loves to run around in the backyard so a home with a yard would be amazing for Opie.<br/>Due to his past history, Opie has some quirks (who wouldn't). He doesn't love being alone. His foster leaves him when she has to, with nothing he can tear-up. His way of showing that he is anxious is to eat paper-products. Toilet paper, tissues, you name it. His foster leaves him in an area with nothing he can chew but his toys. <br/>Despite his past, Opie is a loving boy who would love to find his people. Opie is being fostered in Markham.
