Ookie's Story

Hi. Yes. Hello. It is me, Ookie.

I’m an almost 1-year-old Boston Terrier mix and I am officially accepting applications for a forever family and/or personal assistant.

A few important things about me:

I’m good with dogs, cats, kids, and basically every person I’ve ever met. I make friends extremely fast. Some may say too fast. Stranger danger is apparently something I missed in puppy school.

I LOVE food. If you even think about opening a snack, I will somehow know. I could be in a dead sleep three rooms away and still show up like I was summoned.

I also enjoy chewy toys, following my people around the house, and supervising every single task you do. Laundry? I’m there. Bathroom trip? Team activity. Trying to cook dinner? Perfect time for me to sit directly behind you.

I’m still learning house manners, but I’m doing really well and trying hard. I already know sit, stay, come, heel, and wait. Honestly pretty impressive for a girl whose brain is mostly snacks and excitement.

I do have a lot of puppy energy, so I’d love a family that wants an active, fun little sidekick. I love my people very deeply, which means I can get a little sad when I can’t see them. We’re working on building confidence and I’m already making progress.

A fenced yard is not required, but if you have one, just know I will absolutely be out there ripping laps.

Also, we need to discuss my teefs. They are tiny. They are adorable. They are almost always sticking out. Apparently this has made me somewhat famous around here.

If you’re looking for a funny, loving little best friend that wants to be involved in literally every part of your life, I might be your girl.

Now for my official business information:

Applicants must live within a one hour driving distance of Cleveland, Ohio. My adoption fee is $350.

I am spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on prevention, have had full blood work and a fecal test, and I am current on vaccines.

A complete and approved application is required prior to an in-home meet and greet. The link to the application will be in the comments.

Apply at onek9.net/apply
