Ollie’s personality gives off those ‘cool<br/>dude’ vibes because he likes to chill and take in everything that’s going on around him.<br/>Nothing seems to bother him, he is very laid back. Ollie enjoys playing with other dogs. He’s<br/>very respectful, never pushes it too far, and knows when to ‘turn it off.’<br/><br/>Ollie is the only dog I know who can leave a room while looking you in the eye. He’s got this<br/>cool ‘backward shuffle’ move that you have to see to appreciate! And oooh those eyes, he<br/>will melt your heart with that look he gives you when he wants your attention. Ollie is one of<br/>a kind and if you are lucky, you get to meet him!<br/><br/>Likes: What Ollie loves most is attention from his humans. He likes to snuggle and get as many<br/>‘pets’ from you as he can. If you’re taking a nap, he wants to lie next to you. He’ll be your best<br/>friend.<br/><br/>Dislikes: Ollie gets a little nervous during car rides, you can see him shake a bit. He doesn’t<br/>misbehave or freak out, but you can tell it’s not his favorite thing.<br/><br/>Personality: Ollie has a very regal way about him. He has a calm and trusting demeanor<br/>that just makes you love him. Ollie is the opposite of hyper - he’s just a laid back guy. He<br/>likes to chill on his dog bed and ‘people watch.’ I wonder what he’s thinking sometimes?<br/><br/>Temperament: Ollie is very friendly to everyone he meets. He’ll greet you at the door in a welcoming way. Whether he knows you or not, he treats everyone like an old friend. He is a calm dog and rarely barks.<br/><br/>Energy level: Ollie is versatile and will vibe with your mood, whether it's watching TV or running around in the yard playing with his foster brothers and sisters in the yard.<br/><br/>Favorite activities: Chilling on his dog bed, snuggling with his humans, and playing with his<br/>doggie friends.<br/><br/>Good with cats, dogs, and kids (over 6)?: Ollie is great with other dogs. He is very passive,<br/>not dominant at all. He’s good with kids too. He has never shown any aggression toward anyone<br/>or anything. I’m not sure how Ollie would do living with cats. He was hyper-focused on the<br/>resident office cat at the vet, so not sure if he was just extremely curious or wanted the cat for<br/>his chew toy.<br/><br/>Housetrained: Ollie is 100% housetrained. He’s never had an accident, not one!<br/><br/>Crate trained: Ollie is such a good boy that he’s never had to go in the crate. At night, he<br/>sleeps on a dog bed near his humans. He can be trusted to leave alone in the house if you have<br/>to run errands.<br/><br/>Requires a fenced yard (physical fence and/or invisible fence)?:Yes, Ollie needs a fenced<br/>yard.<br/><br/>Walks well on a leash?: Ollie is very strong and will pull on his leash if he sees something interesting like another dog or person who he wants to say hello to. He can be re-directed, but will require a strong handler until he gets up to par with his leash manners.<br/><br/>Challenges: Ollie is strong! He’ll need some leash training to get his impulses under control<br/>while taking walks. He is so friendly that he just wants to meet everyone he sees (even if he has<br/>to pull you across the street to get to them)!<br/><br/>Any Medical issues?: Ollie is in good health. He recently neutered had two benign cysts<br/>removed from his side.<br/><br/>What would be the best kind of home?: Ollie would do best with a family who can give him lots of love and attention.
