OLLIE's Story
Ollie may be small and size, but he is big in personality. Ollie came to us as an Amish mill release, reason unknown. He started out as a very shy and shut down little guy, but has come out of his shell with leaps and bounds. Originally listed as a poodle, we believe his coloring and personality are more consistent with being an Aussie doodle. He is doing extremely well on his foster home, albeit shy with new situations, new sounds, and new experiences. He loves to go for walks, go for rides in the car, and playing with his four legged siblings. He thinks human kids are fun too, especially when there is a game of chase and tag involved. Since discovering toys, Ollie thinks all of them should be his, so we are working on sharing both toys and the laps he have grown to love to sit on. We think Ollie would do best in an active home as he gets so excited when it’s time to go for a walk that he will even go grab his leash, although having his leash attached to his collar, can sometimes still be scary. He is doing well on housebreaking, but still a work in progress, as routine and structure are primary to his success. He is simply a champ for bathing and grooming - so easy! Although we originally thought he was an old soul in a young body, time to adjust, explore, and live outside the confines of a puppy mill, have revealed his young at heart spirit to go with his youthful body. Ollie is approximately 2 to 3 years old, neutered male, about 16 pounds, and as we stated suspected to be a miniature poodle, Australian Shepherd combination. If you are interested in continuing Ollie adventures, please fill out a fill out an application and we will be in touch. $350

If you would like to meet OLLIE please complete an application for adoption, copy and paste this link into your browser

https://fs17.formsite.com/adoptionscc/form1/index

Any vaccinations/boosters due after adoption is finalized will be the new owner's responsibility. All animals are current at time of adoption but in some cases a booster series is required or a vaccine cannot be given due to age and cannot be completed prior to adoption

Our adoptable animals come to us from various sources, the most common being from an animal shelter who is unable to handle their physical or mental needs in the shelter setting but believe with the appropriate care, they can become adoptable.
