Meet Obie

Obie is a 3-year-old 80lb Shepherd/Boxer mix. He was surrendered by his owner as he was seemingly too much dog around their toddler. He is currently housed at a local kennel – thank you Magic of Paws! He’s been in a ton of playgroups with dogs of all sizes and gets along with everyone. His play style is much more gentle with small dogs than with dogs of his own size, so he seems to understand limits and boundaries. Obie has recently been diagnosed with Addison’s, which does mean he will need a lifetime of medication, but if properly treated he will live a normal life. He is crate trained, loves his toys, snuggling, napping, and running outdoors. He rides well in the car and seems game for most anything. He has a lot of love to give. NO cats.
