Nugget Rat Terrier & Dachshund Mix Cincinnati, OH

Nugget is a 1 ½ year-old male dog who weighs approximately 12 pounds. He is a rat terrier and dachshund mix, whose soft brown eyes and snuggling tendencies may melt your heart. He loves to be near people, encouraging you to pet him or rub his head, will lay next to you on the couch or curl at your feet while you work from home. He likes to play a short game of fetch and loves peanut butter. Like many terriers, he loves to burrow under a blanket and create his own cocoon for sleeping. He is potty-trained, and is working on crate training. He easily will go into a crate while you eat a meal as long as you are still at home. He loves to go on short walks, curious about the smells and other animals he sees, and would love a chance to chase a squirrel or bird. His moderate energy, relaxed demeanor, warm personality makes his a great addition to your family. Nugget's adoption fee is $400.

All of our dogs come spayed or neutered, fully up to date on vaccinations, including rabies (if age appropriate) and bordetella, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
