Meet Nona
Meet Ms. Nona!
Nona came into rescue when she was found as a stray and never claimed. Since we don't know much about her past everything has been new for her fosters and for her and they are learning each other more and more each day.
What we do know is that Nona is crate trained, even if she decides to mildly protest going in. But, only because she truly just wants to be with her people. She is 90% house trained, and really her only accidents have been when her foster family admit they likely missed her cues to go outside.
Nona would make a great hiking partner to burn off her high energy. So having a fenced in yard and an active family would be a major plus for her. She isn't scared of the snow and loves to play outside and with toys... but like tough toys if you expect them to last long. She loves attention and snuggles, and to just be with her people.
Nona has mixed feelings about other animals and honestly would like to be the only one. However, she does understand that maybe it would be cool to have friends, but is selective of her friends so slow intros is a MUST. Since she hasn't been around children much, her fosters feel that she would be best with older considerate children.
Overall, Nona loves and needs structure in her life. She needs a strong leader so she doesn't have to feel like the pressure is on her and she can sit back and relax. She is smart, inquisitive and enjoys learning, but being the teenager she is don't be alarmed when she test you.
