She arrived underweight and scared, but once safe, her true nature emerged. Today, Nini is an incredibly affectionate, people-loving dog who seeks closeness, gentle touch, and connection.

She is soft in both personality and presence — the kind of dog who quietly settles into your life and your heart.

🌸 Personality & Social Behavior
With people, Nini is exceptionally friendly and trusting. She often rolls onto her back to ask for affection, enjoys being held, and remains calm in arms. She is fully comfortable with handling and shows no fear or hesitation, even with new people.

With children, Nini is gentle and neutral. She has not lived with very young children, so a calm home without toddlers is recommended.

With dogs, she has excellent social skills. She plays happily when invited and settles easily when another dog is not interested. She reads cues well, backs off appropriately, and also enjoys independent play or napping nearby.

With cats, Nini walks past calmly with no chasing or fixation. She shows only mild, respectful curiosity.

🏠 Daily Life & Home Behavior
Nini lives with her foster mom and three small dogs. She is quiet, easygoing, and well-mannered indoors. She enjoys resting, playing independently, or staying close to her people.

She has been tested alone for about one hour with no whining, crying, or pacing and rests quietly when alone.

🚶 Walks & Potty Habits
Nini may hesitate briefly at the doorway, but once outside she enjoys her walks. She walks nicely on leash without pulling and shows no reactivity toward people or dogs. Loud trucks may startle her briefly, but she settles quickly.

She reliably uses indoor pads for urination and poops outside on walks. With a consistent routine, she is likely to transition fully to outdoor pottying.

🚗 Car Rides & Grooming
Due to her small size, Nini is carried into the car. She sits calmly throughout rides and has no motion sickness.

She is very tolerant of grooming and routine care, including tooth brushing and handling. She is cooperative, gentle, and easy to care for.

🩺 Health & Care
Nini is spayed and overall very healthy. She receives monthly NexGard Spectra on the 18th and must continue year-round. She eats well and prefers softer treats due to her small frame. Favorites include chicken breast, sweet potato, and dried pollock. She has no known allergies.

Nini does have a noticeable underbite, which does not affect her quality of life. She eats a bit more slowly but has no pain or functional issues.

🌱 Ideal Home for Nini
Nini will thrive with adopters who want a gentle, affectionate companion and appreciate a dog with excellent social manners. She would do well in a calm home with predictable routines, daily walks, and loving companionship. A friendly resident dog is optional but could be a nice bonus. A home without very young children is recommended.

✨ Why Nini
Nini is soft, trusting, and deeply affectionate. She plays when invited, rests quietly when not, and brings a calm, comforting presence into any home. She is the kind of dog who becomes cherished almost immediately.

Her foster shares:
“Nini just wants love, softness, and someone who will treasure her. She’s tender, sweet, and will be cherished anywhere she goes.”

📝 Apply to Adopt: https://forms.gle/UmpfbgmydH7igSdN7
