Niles

Niles is a one year old boy- a mix of shih tzu, yorkie, cocker spaniel and lhasa apso- at least that is our best guess. His foster mom calls him Mo. He is about 18 pounds. Niles came from a situation of pretty bad neglect and we have been working with him to teach him how to be a dog. He is progressing on his housebreaking (though not perfect yet) and is still very scared of strangers (he hides under the bed and barks). We feel that he is ready to move to a forever home with someone who is willing to put the work in to help Niles be the best version of himself. Ideally, we are looking for someone that is a young retiree or works from home and has a back yard. Niles is good with other dogs, up to date on all his vaccines and testing and we have already had him neutered and chipped. <br/><br/>Applications are available at www.chesed-rescue.org/adoptions.
