Meet Niko

Niko. 3 or 4 years old. Shy at first but he's really not the sad old guy he looks like. He's a fun kid once he gets to know you. Loves to snuggle and go for car rides. Fifteen pounds but he seems smaller to me. He's a Lhasa Poodle mix. He's getting good about the doggy door but I'm not claiming house trained. Expect to work with him a little. He gets along with other dogs, ignores the cat we have here and growls when he first meets people, but he gets over it quickly. He has a thick cataract in his left eye - probably from an old injury. No meds or further treatment for that that we know of. Responsible local home. No small children. $225 adoption fee.
