Nash's Story

Meet Nash!

Nash is a 1.5-year-old terrier mix with a big personality packed into a perfect 36-pound frame. This goofy, lovable boy found himself at Dallas Animal Services when his owner had to move to an apartment that didn’t allow dogs. After spending months waiting patiently for a second chance, Nash was heartbreakingly placed on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding—through no fault of his own. Thankfully, he’s now safe and ready to find the forever home he deserves!

Nash is an absolute character. His silly antics and playful personality will have you laughing daily—he’s the kind of dog that keeps life fun. He’s got that classic terrier energy, so he’ll thrive in an active home or one with a yard where he can run, play, and burn off his zoomies.

He does great with other dogs and loves to play, though like many young pups, he can get a little overexcited at times and may need a quick reset to settle down. Nash walks nicely on a leash, is fully potty trained, and is always ready to hop in the car for an adventure—just don’t be surprised if he insists on riding shotgun in your lap (a doggie seatbelt is a must for this co-pilot!).

If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining companion, Nash might just be your perfect match. All he needs now is a family to call his own.

You can apply to adopt Nash on our website below!

https://www.straytoplayrescue.org/

***Please note, Nash is located in Dallas, TX. We can arrange transport for $200 along with a $100 health certificate, bringing Nash's total adoption fee to $650 for out of state adoptions. Trust us - Nash is worth it!***
