Nala's Story

Meet Nala! This dog is incredibly sweet. She is looking for a loving home without any other dogs. She ignores other dogs on walks but is fearful of them and doesn’t like them in her space. We think in time, and with the right dog, she would adjust… but we want her to be comfortable off the hop. No dog parks for Nala, as that would be very overwhelming for her. She is good with kids 3+ and excellent with cats. She will require a fully fenced yard and someone who will keep her leashed when in public, as she has been known to run away. Nala is crate trained and housetrained. No separation anxiety. She is 1.5 years old. A Great Pry mix and 29 kgs. She is spayed, microchipped, vaxxed and is on prevention. She has no known health concerns. It is obvious that Nala has lived a fairly sheltered life and still has much to learn — but this fluffy bundle of joy is eager to please and find the place where she belongs in the world. She is a very, very, good girl and deserves her forever family to find her sooner than later.

Underdog Railroad Canada's Adoption Policy
Our adoption fees vary depending on the expenses associated with that particular animal. We operate on a cost-recovery basis. Please contact us to confirm adoption fee if it is not posted. No animals are offered for free. All animals are adopted spayed/neutered if over 6 months of age. Those under 6 months of age are adopted under a spay and neuter contract and it is the adopter’s responsibility to ensure this is completed. Adoption contracts must be signed upon adoption and state that the animal is returned to UDR if circumstances ever change and the adopter can no longer care for the pet. Our process includes a completed application, a meet and greet with the animal and a home check upon adoption. Submitting an application for review does not guarantee an adoption will take place.
