Meet Muggs

Hi, everybody! My name is Muggs and I'm almost always happy, but I think I'd be even happier with a human who would take me for walks and play with me. I live with my mom, Patches at the animal shelter now, but we both want to find humans who will take good care of us. If we can stay together, that's great, but the most important thing for both of us is to find a nice home. People say I'm a lovable mop with lots of hair that looks very nice, but does have to be groomed or kept short. I just went through a couple of grueling grooming sessions to look good for my pictures, so I would really like it if I could live with someone who would keep it that way. I also find that a good brushing relaxes me and makes me feel good. I am not as stellar on the leash as my mom,but I am very good. I do love to run and play off leash as much as possible. I'm also just learning to enjoy the wonderful world of dog toys, which I never knew before. Come see me sometime and maybe we can have fun together.
