?<br/>?<br/>**** Needs experienced owner who can show leadership<br/>**** Good with cats<br/>**** No children under 16<br/>?<br/>?<br/>6 yr old 20ish lb Shih Tzu /Lhasa apso neutered male<br/>?<br/>Mufasa, yes, named aptly after the Lion King character, because he can be powerful, a lover of his pack and abit temperamental.  He comes out of the gate excited to see you and is adorable, clever and affectionate,......on his terms!  Handling him around his face or when he's not feelin it can cause a very quick mouth reaction and his new owner will need to be a savvy handler requiring clear boundaries and getting him quickly into obedience training and a routine. If that's done, he will be the best canine companion you could ask for.  <br/><br/>An active dog he'd love to be your walking and hiking pal going on all the adventures.  Sunset beach runs are also on his wish list!<br/><br/>Currently, he resides at the vet being boarded as his Dad is in the hospital and will not be able to take him back. <br/>?<br/>Good with cats, but not tested around other dogs...he can put on a show on the leash esp around big dogs but I think he'd be ok if introduced properly to ones his size. <br/>?<br/>SDRBC allows a sleepover period. Our goal is to make sure everyone agrees on the match.<br/>?<br/>Mufasa's adoption fee will be a donation of $400.00 to our rescue.   He's neutered, up to date on his DA2PP & Rabies shots, and will be microchipped.  All SDRBC dogs receive a free month of Trupanion pet insurance. <br/><br/>Mufasa is currently being boarded in Delta BC.
