One day, my guardian took me to a veterinary clinic… and simply never came back. I didn’t understand why. I kept listening for footsteps that belonged to someone familiar. I kept waiting for the sound of my name. But the days passed, and no one returned for me. I was just a little girl, confused and quietly hoping someone would open the door and say, “Come home, Tala.”<br/><br/>But that day never came.<br/><br/>Instead, something even better happened. I was rescued — gently, kindly — by people who saw my tiny shaking body and my big hopeful eyes and promised me a chance to start again. Now I am safe in Montreal, learning what real love feels like and dreaming of the family who will finally choose me forever.<br/><br/>I’m calm, sweet, and incredibly social. I love women, men, children, dogs, and even cats. I adore cuddles, being held, and feeling the warmth of a caring hand against my fur. I’m excellent on a leash and love going for long walks. I enjoy toys, meeting new people, and riding in the car with no fear at all. I don’t guard my food, I don’t guard my toys, and I don’t worry when I’m left alone — I know now that people can be gentle and kind.<br/><br/>I eat all types of food, I’m easygoing, and I have no sensitivities.
