Just a small touch on my head and gone.<br/>No explanation.<br/><br/>Just... a quiet ending.<br/><br/>But what I didn't know then...<br/><br/>was that it was also a beginning. <br/><br/>Now Im safe.<br/><br/>Im in a foster home where everything feels different.<br/><br/>The hands are gentle.<br/>The voices are soft.<br/>The love... feels real.<br/><br/>And something inside me<br/>has started to heal.<br/><br/>I discovered that I love to cuddle.<br/><br/>I cover my new family's faces with kisses<br/>so many kisses like I'm trying to give back<br/>all the love I've been holding inside.<br/><br/>I follow them everywhere...<br/><br/>because for the first time,<br/>I dont want to be left behind.<br/><br/>I just want to stay close.<br/><br/>I love going on walks now...<br/><br/>feeling the world in a new way<br/>not scary...<br/>but peaceful.<br/><br/>Sometimes I still remember the past...<br/><br/>but it doesn't hold me the same way anymore.<br/><br/>Because now I know...<br/><br/>I wasn't meant to stay there.<br/><br/>I was meant to be found.<br/><br/>Im still a little girl<br/>with a soft, sensitive heart...<br/><br/>but it's full of love.<br/><br/>So much love.<br/><br/>All I need now...<br/><br/>is a forever home<br/>that will keep loving me this way.<br/><br/>Gently.<br/>Patiently.<br/>Completely.<br/><br/>Because I'm not a toy.<br/><br/>I'm Lili.<br/><br/>And I'm finally learning<br/>what it feels like<br/>to be truly loved.
