My name is Mysterio. <br/><br/>I am an adorable little 2 months old wire-haired Pug/Terrier mix (best guess) with a one-of-a-kind look and an even sweeter personality.<br/><br/>I may only be 2 months old, but my life has already been quite a journey.<br/><br/>I am too young and small to be neutered, but fully vaccinated, microchipped.<br/><br/>I will make a long journey to travel from Southern California to my foster home in Ridgefield, WA by the end of June hoping when I am old enough hoping that my real family is out there. I don't know where my family went or why I ended up alone. All I remember is feeling scared, hungry, and wondering why nobody stopped for a tiny puppy like me.<br/><br/>Day after day, I searched for kindness. I searched for someone to notice me. Someone to tell me I mattered.<br/><br/>Instead, I found myself in a crowded shelter. The sounds were overwhelming. Dogs barking. Doors opening and closing. So many frightened faces looking through kennel bars, all hoping for the same thinga second chance.<br/><br/>I was just a baby.<br/><br/>While other puppies were learning what it felt like to be loved, I was learning what it felt like to be forgotten.<br/><br/>But somehow, my story changed.<br/><br/>A rescue saw me. They looked past my scruffy coat and my uncertain eyes and saw a little soul who deserved a future. They picked me up, held me close, and promised me that my life was about to get better.<br/><br/>For the first time, I felt safe.<br/><br/>For the first time, I slept without being afraid.<br/><br/>For the first time, someone cared.<br/><br/>Now I spend my days doing all the things puppies should doplaying with my friends, chasing toys, exploring the world, and giving as many kisses as I possibly can. Every morning I wake up excited because I know kindness exists.<br/><br/>But every night before I fall asleep, I still dream about one thing.<br/><br/>I dream about my family.<br/><br/>I dream about a home where I never have to wonder if I'll be left behind again.<br/><br/>I dream about a couch where I can curl up beside my people.<br/><br/>I dream about hearing someone say, "That's my dog."<br/><br/>I dream about belonging.<br/><br/>I don't need a perfect family.
