Meet Mr Bubbles! Mixed Breed -appears to have some Yorkie in his dna- no promises !<br/>Adoption Fee: $650<br/>He is about 2ish years and 8lbs and full of personality- we are looking for an owner with terrier experience for this little fella. Mr Bubbles is absolutely adorable but has quite the attitude at times- he has come miles since intake but still can be a landshark with other dogs especially when sitting with me on the couch (he believes that I and the couch belong to him)- easily corrected but would definitely be an issue with another dog who was not tolerant. He lives with more than 15 dogs currently and does very well with a a strong pack leader. He is a super snuggler and sleeps right beside me every night. He is ok in his crate but when let out sometimes is overstimulated and sharks my ankles so I have learned to just pick him up when coming out of his crate and once outside he settles. Mr B will do best as an only dog or with an owner who will give him direction and guidance - and any resident dog would need to tolerate Mr Bs antics.<br/>Mr B walks well with the pack- plays with the pack and seems to be housetrained as we have a dog door (no promises in a new home).<br/>Again breed experience preferred and this is not a pup for a first time dog owner!<br/>We are looking for a home without young children- he has not been exposed to kids while in rescue. He does not do well with cats- so a feline free household is essential. <br/>Here are the basics of how adoption from Palmetto Paws works. Please READ IN FULL PRIOR to completing an application. Most of your questions are answered here. <br/>-We only take applications for those pets listed for adoption-any applications prior to a dog being posted for adoption will NOT be considered. Completing an application does not guarantee an adoption. <br/>-Please DO NOT complete an application if you are not ready to adopt immediately- we only consider applications for those applicants ready and available on the Saturday of the week the application is submitted.<br/>-All applications submitted receive an auto response detailing the process as well as the same details here. <br/>-Dogs reside in private foster homes. We do not host events and there is no opportunity to view multiple dogs. <br/>-We take many things into consideration when reviewing applications. -The age to be considered for adoption is 25.<br/>- As we receive many applications for our pups we will only be in touch with the selected applicant to arrange a meet/potential adoption. -The question regarding heartworm disease must be answered in full. We feel all adopters should be knowledgeable about heartworm disease and the basics can be found online if you are unfamiliar with it. All current and prior household pets must be/have been kept up to date on vaccines, preventives and spayed/neutered for adoption consideration. -We will not process applications that are not for a specific dog listed on our Petfinder site.<br/>-We do not process and "hold" applications. We do not ship dogs and we do not arrange transports. All adopters must be present to complete the adoption. -We do consider out of state applicants as long as the applicant is willing to come to Charleston to complete the adoption. If an adopter is approved we do a meet and greet with a specific dog or pup. If at the meet we all agree its a good match, then the adoption takes place at that time. Their is no opportunity to meet and adopt at a later date. -Please keep in mind that we do our best to make an educated guess as to the breeds of our rescued pets. In rescue we rarely see the parents of the puppies, and even when we do, they are usually mixed breeds as well. We will never promise a particular breed or adult size. We do our best to put all info we have in the bio. -We will not respond to inquires regarding information that is already detailed in the bio. <br/>-Adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (unless the rescue Veterinarian deems the pup/dog will need to be adopted on a SN contract), have age appropriate vaccines, are current on hw and flea preventatives and are microchipped. All adopters are provided with a medical summary, a new collar and leash, a few toys and chews, food to get started, an opportunity to go over basic training/pet care and help shopping for supplies if needed. <br/>-If interested in adoption please submit an application!
