Mr. Bean's Story

Medical Hold. Hello Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean is 3 years old and weighs 19 lbs. He is doing well in his foster home and is learning to play with his foster siblings. He is good in his crate, but as you all know, he would rather sleep in the bed with you! He loves to go and is good on a leash. Mr. Bean never meets a stranger; everyone is his friend. If you want a cuddle bug, Mr. Bean is your boy. He will follow you everywhere! Mr. Bean’s adoption fee is $350 and he is being fostered in Oklahoma City. We are still accepting applications while Mr. Bean is on medical hold during this heartworm treatment.

Boston Terrier and Short Nose Rescue of Oklahoma's Adoption Policy
All Boston Terrier and Short Nose Rescue of Oklahoma dogs are fully vetted at the time of adoption which includes spay/neuter, all vaccines - Rabies, Bordetella, and DHLP - along with heartworm check and the first month of preventative, and a vet check. Adoption fees vary per dog, but generally range from $250 to $750 depending on age and what vetting the dog required. The adoption fee is on a cash basis, is non-refundable, and is due at the time of the adoption. All adoption agreements state that the dog will be returned to the rescue if the adopter can no longer keep the dog for any reason. We highly recommend allowing at least a month for a dog to adjust; oftentimes settling into a new home can take time and lots and lots of patience. Since we are run by a group of volunteers who have full-time jobs as well, the application process can take a little while. On average, applications are processed within a week and include checking veterinary and personal references, background checks, and home visits. Also since we are foster based the dog may be located in Muskogee, Tulsa, or OKC. It is because of her that the BT Rescue of Oklahoma Foundation was established just one year later. Madison will be remembered for many, many years to come...
