Meet Moxie
Day after day her post appeared on Facebook; over 20k views. A video of her shaking in fear, terrified! Abandoned at the shelter after living with her family for 4 years! Within 24 hours we broke her out of that scary unfamiliar place!
She was surrendered as Nena, then she walked out as Moxie. It’s said that if you have Moxie, you won't let a minor setback stop you from trying again, because you’re a determined being who doesn't give up easily. Moxie describes someone with a fighting spirit; and that’s her!
Moxie is a beautiful 4-year-old MinPin Mix. She has been in the wonderful care of her foster family for a few weeks now and she’s made great progress. She’s shown to be affectionate, loyal and independent until she needs the backup from one of her foster brothers in case there is a squirrel she needs help barking to. She also spins like Wonder Woman; she was destined to be a hero!
She enjoys hunting for critters in the backyard and is quick on her feet! Every day she shines and shows her personality and interests more and more. She will do best in a home with an experienced dog owner and with someone that will continue to work with her through her transition.
