Moose-Euthanasia list's Story
URGENT RESCUE / FOSTER PLEA: 2+ Years in the Shelter and at a risk of euthanasia.
And hence our rescue need a Hero to open their heart and home to save this dog. Is that you?

Meet Moose: A 3-year-old Australian Kelpie/Shepherd mix who lost everything through absolutely no fault of his own.

Mooses story is truly heartbreaking. He was originally owned by a soldier who was deployed overseas. The soldier entrusted his beloved pup to his girlfriend, but when the relationship ended, she surrendered Moose to the shelter. He went from a home where he lived happily with young children to a loud, concrete kennel.
That was over two years ago. Moose is now deteriorating in the shelter environment, desperately missing the love, structure, and human connection he craves.

About Moose:
The Look: Moose is incredibly handsome, featuring a beautiful black coat with a crisp white chest, a cute stubby tail, and deeply soulful eyes that just want to connect with you.
The Personality: He is extremely affection-motivated! He loves water, is adorably vocal when he wants to communicate, and will happily roll over for belly rubs and give you kisses once he knows you.
The Shepherd Loyalty: True to his Shepherd heritage, Moose is fiercely loyal and deeply devoted to his people. He can be naturally wary of strangers at first, but he warms up beautifully (and seems to trust women very quickly!).
The Brains: Moose is highly intelligent and very trainable. On walks, he is perfectly leash-trained, completely focused on his trusted handler, and eagerly obeys all commands. He wants nothing more than to please his person.

What Moose Needs: Because Moose has been in a high-stress shelter for so long, he needs a hero. We are urgently looking for a foster or adopter who can provide:
An active lifestyle (daily walks and weekly hikes would be his dream!).
A commitment to formal obedience training to help channel his intelligence and eagerness to learn.
Patience. Moose takes a little time to open up, but the moment he does, you will have a fiercely loyal shadow for life.

Moose is a good boy who was left behind by circumstance, not by his behavior. He has so much love to give and just needs a right person to finally choose him.

Could you be the one to give Moose his life back? Please share, tag, and reach out immediately at Rescuewithoutborders@gmail.com if you can foster or adopt this incredible boy!
