Moose's Story
Meet Moose

2 Years Old Bernese Mountain Dog Norwegian Elkhound Mix Fostered on a Farm

Moose is a big-hearted boy who has truly found his happy place with his foster family on the farm.

At just two years old, Moose is already showing us what a wonderful companion he can be. He absolutely loves being part of the family and especially enjoys helping with all of the farm chores. Whether he’s tagging along for the day or simply keeping an eye on everything happening around him, Moose is happiest when he feels like he has a job to do and a family to be part of.

And when it comes to his four-legged friends, Moose is an absolute superstar!

He is amazing with farm animals, cats and other dogs, and he absolutely adores children. His gentle, loving personality shines brightest when he is comfortable and surrounded by the people and animals he trusts.

Moose is still working on one little hurdle: meeting new people. He can be nervous when someone new comes into the home, so his foster family is helping him learn that strangers can be friends too. We are taking things at his pace and giving him the time, patience and positive experiences he needs to build confidence.

Slow and steady wins the race.

Moose doesn't need someone to rush him or expect him to become confident overnight. He needs a family who understands that trust is earned, confidence takes time, and sometimes the best progress happens one small step at a time.

His vaccines will be updated shortly, and he will also be neutered prior to adoption.

If you're looking for a loving, loyal farm companion who will happily follow you around, help with the chores, love your kids and coexist beautifully with animals of all kinds, Moose may just be your guy.

Moose is looking for a patient family who will continue helping him grow in confidence while giving him the love and security he deserves.

Currently fostered on a farm
Great with dogs
Great with cats
Wonderful with farm animals
Absolutely loves kids
Loving and loyal
Working on confidence with new people
Vaccines being updated
Neuter to be completed prior to adoption
