Monty & Louie Italian Greyhound Annapolis , MD

Monty and Louie are a bonded pair of sweet 5-year-old boys, who are looking for their forever home together. They MUST be adopted together.

They both love running and playing with their foster family's dogs (both big and small) and their tween/teenage kids. Both also love snuggles and would be happy to be under a blanket - preferably on your lap - most of the day. They know a few tricks, love carrots and other treats, and like most IGs enjoy being up high (often on the kitchen island!).

Monty and Louie are both blue dogs and experience some of the fur/skin issues typical of their color, but it's nothing serious, and they're both very handsome boys. They're healthy eaters, but could both gain a bit of weight.

In their former home, they spent most of their days and nights crated, so they're new to going to the bathroom outside (they're also pad trained) and currently need a belly band at night. That said, they've made amazing strides in their short time in foster care, so they may outgrow the need for belly bands. They look forward to learning and perfecting their good habits in their forever home.

Monty and Louie's dream wishlist for their new home includes a "pawrent" who is retired or works from home (they spent too much of their young lives in a crate already!) and a fenced-in backyard for running. They would also welcome another dog or two in your home as familiar dogs seem to give them confidence, and they would be happy to share a bed with you at night -- although neither of these is a requirement for a happy home for Monty and Louie.

They are currently being fostered n Annapolis, Maryland.
