Recently a little nugget pup was found in WM and brought to us. We waited the 7 day required hold while advertising her as a stray to see if an owner would show up.... No one came to claim her. She's up for adoption now. Misty (we named her) came in as a stray on 9/29...and she loved every volunteer instantly. Misty is adorable, lovable, playful. She may be ok with another small dog. Two meet-and-greets are required. Also she would be Ok in a home with kids 10+ years old. She has seen our vet and is guesstimated to be around 2 y/o - still a baby! <br/><br/>We are accepting adoption applications for her right now. We do not have the application on-line. Please come to the shelter to fill it out. Misty is on medical hold until she is spayed later this month. But she is accepting visitors... <br/><br/>If you have a small dog and want to see if your pup gets along with her, please call ahead to make an appointment for them to meet. She's precious, loves being with people, smart and very active! Could she be right for you? Call to make an appointment. We do not adopt first come, it is the best home. <br/><br/>Stop by to fill out an adoption application and spend as much time as you like with our dogs. Please call your veterinarian to permit them to speak with us for our vet check. If you rent, bring proof (lease/contract) that you are allowed to have a dog.<br/><br/>We offer a free session with our trainer, Canine Cooperative, once an adoption is finalized.<br/><br/>Our adoption fee is $150 for dogs.
