Misty American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Waxhaw, NC

Meet Misty a beautiful 1 year old American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Misty is a loving and friendly dog with a tail that never stops wagging. She is eager to say "hello" to anyone she meets. Misty was rescued from an area shelter after being found with horrific burns on her body. The pain and suffering she endured at the hands of another is unimaginable. Yet, Misty is one of the most social and loving dogs you will ever meet. She adores people. Her reliance and determination to survive such a horrific act is truly a testament to her amazing personality and character. Misty is currently in a foster home and her wounds have begun to heal. She is soaking up all the love and attention she is getting! This sweet girl loves
to have her chin scratched or head petted. She knows the sit command and is
always happy when a treat is offered to her. She does appear to be house and
crate trained. She loves to spend time outside playing with her foster brother and would love to find a home with another buddy. Her favorite toys are plush dog toys and usually has one in her mouth as she walks through her foster's home. She is currently 40lbs and is full grown.
