Meet Miracle Whip — a little miracle with BIG opinions! <br/><br/>Born April 12, Miracle Whip is the last of her litter still waiting for her forever home. And while her start in life was anything but ordinary, this girl is making up for lost time!<br/><br/>Miracle Whip had a rocky beginning. Much smaller than her siblings and struggling with significant balance issues, she was separated from her mom and littermates and tube-fed for several weeks before eventually returning to them. Thankfully, today she is doing all the normal puppy things—running, playing, learning and keeping everyone entertained! While she appears healthy now, her future family should be prepared for the possibility of unknown long-term effects as well as typical bulldog health concerns.<br/><br/>So who is she?<br/><br/>Miracle Whip is a playful, independent, hilariously sassy little girl who absolutely LOVES other dogs and toys. She is food and water obsessed, incredibly food motivated, and learns FAST. She may be slightly stubborn, but she listens well, redirects easily, and already understands “NO” without challenging it.<br/><br/>She isn’t currently interested in being your cuddle buddy or giving kisses. She’d much rather play with her toys, romp with the dogs or entertain herself. She’s perfectly happy doing her own thing!<br/><br/>Her training is going wonderfully, and with someone willing to put in the time, she has so much potential. Because she missed some important early socialization due to her medical needs, her adopter must be committed to continuing that work. A home willing to continue positive, force-free training and socialization is a must.<br/><br/>Her adoption also requires a $200 training deposit, refunded after successfully completing three sessions with a fear-free, force-free trainer. MBR can help her family find an appropriate trainer.<br/><br/>Miracle Whip is expected to grow to around 50–60 pounds, and her family should be prepared for the health considerations that come with her bulldog heritage.<br/><br/>She may not be the puppy who crawls into your lap and kisses your face.<br/><br/>She’s the puppy who will make you laugh, keep you on your toes, learn for a handful of kibble, and grow into whatever you take the time to teach her. <br/><br/>Her beginning was complicated.<br/><br/>Her future is still waiting to be written. <br/><br/>DOB: 04/12/26<br/>Adoption Fee: $500<br/><br/>MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training and grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters.
