Mindy Terrier Mix Oklahoma City, OK

Mindy is a 2 year old Terrier mix that weighs 17 lbs. She’s kind of leggy so she’s on the taller side for a small dog.

She is shy when she first meets new people but does warm up to females, she just needs a little patience. She barks at strangers when they first come into the home. Once she becomes your buddy she will give you doggy kisses. She likes getting attention but is not obsessive about it like some of her foster siblings. She however is very afraid of men and does not warm up even with a week of time so she needs a home with only women.

Mindy loves playing with toys & chasing her dog friends around in the yard. She gets along great with other small dogs & gives her doggy friends kisses. She has an independent side & is just as happy sitting in your lap as she is next to you.

She enjoys treats, chew sticks, back scratches, belly rubs & playing.

She loves playing outside in the yard. In the colder weather she appreciates a sweater to keep her warm. It is preferred that she have another playful dog in the home & a secure fenced yard. She is good with older kids unsure about littles.

She is crate, leash & potty trained. She is using a doggy door to go outside to play & go potty. She may require some patience adjusting to a home without a doggy door in regards to her potty training. At night she will sleep wherever you let her. She is currently sleeping in her foster parents room on a comfy bench in front of their bed & will occasionally sleep in their bed.

Mindy is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, HW negative, current on HW preventative and micro chipped. Her adoption fee is $175.
