Mimi's Story
Mimi came to us after her person passed away. She is a friendly, active little dog with lots of personality. Mimi was used to being home all day with her person and is a little frustrated being caged at the city pound. She loves her time out of the kennel and would take walks all day long! She also likes car rides, soft treats, toys and cuddles. She seems to be ok with other dogs and cats; slow introductions will set her up for success. At her vet checkup we did find that Mimi has a bad heart and will require medications for the rest of her life to manage her heart disease. She takes her pills like a champ, and you would never know she is 9 years old. Since we don't know how she would behave around infants or toddlers, we think a home with older children would be best. Her ideal home would be settled and routine but with daily activity. Mimi really has a lot of love to give and we hope she can find a permanent home soon.
