Meet Miley!

Miley is a 13 year old Beagle mix who weighs about 32 lbs. She came into our program due to her elderly owner having a stroke and needing extended medical attention. We held Miley and her cat named Chloe after speaking with their owner and agreeing that if after 30 days of us holding them for her without promoting them if she is not physically able to take them back- we will work on finding them forever homes. We have not heard from her since November and are working on finding them homes of their own now.

Miley is extremely friendly and happy. She loves people like most Beagles you'll meet! She has a lot of spunk for being an older lady. She does not like to be around dogs that get in her face, but she lived with Chloe a medium haired cat for all her life. She is house trained but due to her age may need to go outside more frequently than adult dogs.

Miley was not spayed and due to her age our vet recommends against putting her under for surgery. She does not have heat cycles, but we just wanted an adopter to be aware of that. Miley is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heart worm negative.
