Mila's Story
Beautiful golden retriever mix Mila lost her home when her human mom died. At four years old, she's coming into her prime and needs the stability now of a true forever home.

She's a sweet girl who grew up around other dogs and enjoyed their company. Plus, she always played well with other dogs at doggie daycare. When she sees some dogs from a distance now, though, she will sometimes bark excitedly and pull on her leash.

And this is not characteristic of her otherwise gentle personality. She has behaved well around children- and the sight of some dogs in her viewing area don't affect her at all- but others seem to agitate her for some reason.

Mila will benefit greatly from being in a home with a fenced yard where she can explore and enjoy the freedom of being off leash. Inside the house, she has good manners and is housebroken and crate trained.

Mila would love to have her own family again! She has a lot of love to share and is a good size at 50 pounds. She is spayed, fully vaccinated and heartworm negative.

If you are interested in adopting Mila or need more information, please email adoptionsecondchance@gmail.com or text 757-630-6181 for a quick response.
