Midnight's Story

Introducing Midnight

Midnight is another one of our incredible Freed Thirteen dogs, and she is ready to begin her new life.

At just 4 years old, Midnight is the youngest of the female dogs rescued from this heartbreaking situation. As you can see from her photos, she has likely had one or two litters during her life. Like many of the Freed Thirteen, she also has some dental issues that will need attention.

When these dogs first arrived at the shelter, they were all underweight, had dirty ears, overgrown nails, and carried the unmistakable signs of neglect. Thankfully, the shelter staff spent months providing the care they desperately needed, addressing their immediate medical needs and helping them begin their journey toward recovery.

Despite everything she has endured, Midnight remains a stunning girl with a bright future ahead of her. During our visit, she showed herself to be curious, engaged, and eager to connect. She seems interested in the world around her and is beginning to discover what it means to simply be a dog.

Midnight will do best in a home with a male canine companion, as she takes comfort in the company of other dogs and continues to build her confidence.

Interested in fostering or adopting Midnight?

Please contact Barbara at BarbaraABoxer@gmail.com
