Mia Beagle Lexington, MA

Mia is a sweet retired hunting dog. She was surrendered by her owner to spend retirement indoors. She is estimated to be 8 - 10 years old and weighs about 25-30 lbs. She is very friendly and likes other dogs. She's not much of a barker and walks very well on a leash. Mia likes to be with her people and would love a family that is home a lot. She would do well in any home, including one with children. However, she has shown some signs of separation anxiety and needs another dog in the home. Mia is being fostered in the Boston area and is available for visits.

About our rescue
We are a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in foster homes throughout the area or in some cases in the south waiting to be transported north. We do not have a physical shelter. However, meet and greets are set up for approved applicants.

Once the phone interview is completed, we will check your vet reference as well as a personal reference and conduct a home visit.
